Vidhi on Navratri Day 5
Maa Skandamata Puja may be performed with a clean Puja space, Sankalp, Devi Avahana, traditional offerings, Mantra Japa, Naivedya and Aarti. The exact sequence may vary according to regional, family and Guru traditions.
STEP 1: Prepare the Puja Space
Clean the Puja area and arrange the image or idol of Maa Skandamata.
STEP 2: Take Sankalp
Begin the Puja with a sincere Sankalp for your Navratri worship.
STEP 3: Invoke Maa Skandamata
Perform the traditional Avahana and offer your prayers to the Goddess.
STEP 4: Offer Puja Samagri
Offer Chandan, Kumkum/Roli, Akshat, Flowers, Dhup and Deep according to your tradition.
STEP 5: Recite Maa Skandamata Mantra
Perform Mantra Japa with concentration and devotion.
STEP 6: Offer Bhog
