The 'Maha Deep' of Baglamukhi: Burning Darkness at the Root

One flame can remove darkness in a room. But 36 flames can remove darkness from your Destiny. Light the fire of transformation.

1. The Mystery of 36 Wicks

Most people light a single wick lamp. That is for gratitude. But when you are in a War (Legal, Health, or Spiritual), a single wick is not enough.

You need the 36-Wick Lamp (Chattis Baati Deepak).

Why 36? In Shaivism and Tantra, the universe is built of 36 Tatvas (Elements) — ranging from the gross Earth (Prithvi) to the subtlest Pure Consciousness (Shiva). Bondage happens when our soul is trapped in these 36 layers.

Lighting 36 wicks symbolizes burning the bondage of all 36 elements simultaneously. It is an act of total liberation.

The Living Fire

2. The "Atta Deepak" (Dough Lamp) Recipe

Stop! Do not use a Metal (Brass/Steel) or Clay lamp for this. You must create a fresh, biodegradable body for the fire.
Ingredients Needed:
Wheat Flour (Atta)

Represents the Sun (Soul). Take 250g.

Turmeric Water

To knead the dough. Yellow is Maa's color.

Mustard Oil

Put 2 Cloves inside. Best for enemy destruction.

Step-by-Step Method:
  1. Knead the Dough: Mix flour, turmeric water, and a pinch of salt. Make a tight dough.
  2. Shape it: Mold it into a large, deep bowl. Make the walls thick so they don't burn/leak.
  3. The Wicks: Take red cotton thread (Mauli). Cross two threads to create 4 ends. Repeat this crossing until you have a cluster of wicks in the center. Count them—there must be 36 tips.
  4. Fill: Fill with Mustard Oil (for Enemies) or Ghee (for Wealth).

3. The Timing & Direction (Calculated)

Best Time
  • Amavasya (New Moon): The strongest night for Tantra.
  • Tuesday Night: After 9 PM (Mars Energy).
  • Saturday Night: After 9 PM (Saturn Energy).
Direction
  • Face South: To defeat enemies, win court cases, remove fear (Yama's direction).
  • Face East: For spiritual growth, peace, and knowledge.
  • Face North: For wealth and Kubera's blessings.

4. The "Haldi Gath" Offering (Secret Technique)

Just lighting the lamp is Level 1. Level 2 is the Offering.

"While the lamp burns, take 36 pieces of Dry Turmeric (Sabut Haldi). Hold one piece, chant the mantra, and offer it to the fire (place it in the oil)."

Mantra: "Om Hleem Baglamukhi [Enemy Name OR Problem] Nashaya Nashaya Swaha"

Do this 36 times. Visualize that each piece of turmeric represents one part of your problem being dissolved by the Devi.

5. How to Dispose (Visarjan)

What happens after the oil finishes?

The dough lamp will be black and burnt. This is good—it has absorbed the negative energy of your house.

  1. Wait for it to cool down completely (Next morning).
  2. Collect the dough and the burnt wicks.
  3. Option A (Best): Go to a flowing river/stream and immerse it. Fish and water animals will eat the dough. Feeding animals cancels bad karma.
  4. Option B (City Life): If no river is nearby, bury it under a Peepal or Banyan tree. Do not throw it in the dustbin.
